Refund policy
At Smilbite, we take pride in creating high-quality, delicious cakes and desserts for every occasion. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please review our refund and cancellation policy below.
1. Order Cancellations

3 weeks+ to collection / delivery: we will refund the payment made minus the admin fees below.
If we’ve already begun making your order, additional fees will be deducted based on how far into the process we are.Orders under $200 = $30 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Orders over $200 = $50 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Orders over $500 = $100 admin fee will be deducted from the refundable amount. - Orders canceled 72 hours before the scheduled date are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Orders canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled date are non-refundable due to the time and ingredients already invested.
2. Refunds & Returns
- Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.
- If there is an issue with your order (e.g., incorrect cake or quality concerns), please contact us.
- Refunds or replacements will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We may require a photo of the product.
- If a refund is approved, it will be issued in the same form of payment or as a store credit.
3. Custom & Specialty Cakes and Desserts
- All custom cake orders require a non-refundable deposit (e.g., 50%) at the time of booking.
- If a custom order is canceled more than 7 days before the event, we can transfer the deposit to a future order.
- Custom orders canceled within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.
4. Delivery Issues
- We ensure the safe packaging and transport of all cakes. However, once the cake has been picked up or delivered, we are not responsible for damages caused by mishandling or improper storage.
- If there is an issue with the cake upon delivery, please notify us immediately for assistance.
